The head of the department of book reviews in Kultura Liberalna weekly. He studied social sciences and philosophy at the University of Warsaw. In 2008-2015, he worked at the Polish Book Institute. In his writings, he concentrates on French culture and society, as well as researching the links between literature and politics in the twentieth century. He has also written for Tygodnik Powszechny, Znak, Res Publica Nowa, and Le Magazine Littéraire.
