Daisy Johnson was born in Paignton in 1990. She earned her BA degree in English and Creative Writing from Lancaster University before earning her MA degree in Creative Writing at Somerville College in Oxford. Her debut collection of short stories Fen won the 2017 Edge Hill Short Story Prize. Daisy Johnson’s first novel, Everything Under, was shortlisted for the 2018 Man Booker Prize, making her the youngest author ever to be on the shortlist. The Polish translation of the book will be first presented during the festival. She currently lives in Oxford by the river.
