Karkowska
Born and raised in Elbląg, she has lived in Warsaw for 20 years. An economist, she worked for global corporations in Poland and abroad, implementing new organisation procedures. She is a social activist at Sadyba in Warsaw and the deputy president of the Miasto Ogród Sadyba association. For six years, she has been organising the Otwarte Ogrody festival. She loves travel, photography, and books. With a little time on her hands, she likes to paint.
