A culture philosopher, an essayist, and a film critic with a PhD in humanities, he has written Wobec nihilizmu. Gombrowicz, Witkacy (2009), as well as publishing Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Po ludobójstwie (Heretical empiricism/Lettere luterane/Corsair Writings) (2012), and editing What Kieślowski Tells Us Today? (2008), and Polish Cinema Now! Focus on Contemporary Polish Cinema (2010). In 2001-2010, he curated the film program at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. He had lectures at the Film School in Lodz and the University of Warsaw. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and an editor in the Kronos quarterly.
