Ryszard Derdziński (a.k.a. Galadhorn) is a political scientist with a penchant for history, J. R. R. Tolkien's writings, and travels. An activist in the Polish Tolkien fandom since the 1990s; the editor in Simbelmynë and Gwaihir journals and a co-editor of Elendilion.pl and other Tolkien-oriented websites; and a member of The Tolkien Society; an expert in the Tolkien linguistics, he studies Tolkien's biography and philosophy.
