Writer, graduated from cultural studies within the Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw. In 2009, she published a novel Toksymia, which was nominated to Nagroda Literacka Gdynia (Gdynia Literary Award) and the Award of the Polish Association of Books’ Publishers. In 2013, she published a collection of reportages Bukareszt. Kurz i krew (Bucharest. Dust and Blood), for which she received a nomination to the Newsweek’s Teresa Torańska award, Nagroda Literacka dla Autorki Gryfia (Literary Award for the Author Gryfia) and Guarantee of Culture by TVP Kultura. She was also nominated to the Nike Literary Award, Polityka’s Passport award and Beata Pawlak Award. Her third book entitled Błoto słodsze niż miód (Mud Sweeter Than Honey, Czarne publishing house) brought her Polityka’s Passport award. Her texts have been published in Duży Format, Polityka, Gazeta Wyborcza, Herito and several other magazines and newspapers. Scholarship fellow of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Young Poland programme by the National Centre for Culture. She lives in Tirana.
