A Polish language and literature graduate from the University of Wrocław and a journalist, she has written for Wysokie Obcasy Extra and Ale Historia supplements to Gazeta Wyborcza daily. She wrote the biography of Słonimski (Słonimski. Heretyk na ambonie) – shortlisted for the most important prizes for historical books (Moczarski Award and Halecki Award) – and the best-selling biography of Kazimiera Iłłakowiczówna (Iłła; Marginesy, 2017) – shortlisted for Józef Łukaszewicz Award.
