For reasons unknown, Alan commits a cruel act of blinding six horses. In the course of the psychiatric evaluation, two women are struggling to understand his motives. Analyzing the boy’s past, they disclose his dark secrets to finally have to deal his sexual and religious obsession, i.e. seeing horses as representative of God (the Equus).
